"HOW MUCH TIME DO I HAVE TO MOVE OUT?"

Every state is different and every investor is different. We can discuss your options. l suggest that you be proactive and put a sign on the front door, saying something like - "We are still in the house. Please leave your contact information and we will call you. We desire to work with you and have a smooth transition."  Be sure to tape it on all 4 sides.

*Sometimes the new owner will give you more time, especially when we help to negotiate, in writing. They may also opt to rent to you for another month. Just don't panic if you are told that you have 48 hours to get out. It is very important to communicate. 

"WHAT PERCENTAGE DOES THE ATTORNEY CHARGE?"

The percentage agreed upon depends upon the total gross overage that the property brought. Once agreed upon, it will not change. You will never get a surprise at the end of the recovery. Some 'companies' will offer you a very low percentage, then add expenses on at the end. Also, just beware of a low offer... A really great Real Estate Attorney cannot stay in business without paying for their expenses plus (filing fees, etc). Sometimes, they may just be a cousin down the street who does not have the experience nor expertise you need. You need a fighter that knows all the 'games' bank attorneys try to pull.
